In the summer of 2003, I spent a week fishing Awesome Lake in Labrador. I caught many beautiful wild brook trout, and had a wonderful time. Len Rich and Mick Emmens, the outfitters, also have a lodge on nearby Eagle Lake, where one can catch larger Northern Pike, as well as big brookies.
