Dick Talleur and Hunter's Angling Supplies will be offering a salmon fly tying class during the winter of 2003. Dick will teach basic to intermediate level salmon fly tying techniques, utilizing proven patterns that are not only effective from a fishing standpoint, but beautiful to look at. The training obtained in this class would provide a foundation for advancing to classic and full-dress tying for those who might wish to do so, and would also enhance the abilities of the trout fly tier as well. This two-day weekend class is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23, 2003. It is limited to eight students. The class will be priced at $180.00, which includes all materials, and lunch both days. Please register for this class ASAP if you are interested, as our classes tend to close early! Hunter's Angling Each year, I teach a limited number of weekend fly tying classes at Hunter's Angling Supplies in New Boston, New Hampshire. As usual, I will be teaching Beginner's and Mastery Fly Tying Classes. In 2002 we added a Salmon Fly Tying Class! Why string out your fly tying training over weeks and months? My classes are so constructed as to turn beginners into competent tyers and intermediate students into masters-all in a weekend! Individual attention is the key. You'll graduate with the ability to dress the flies you want to fish with, and in admirable fashion. We supply all materials and hooks; you need bring only your tools, and anything that you'd like me (Dick) to evaluate. We have loaner tools for beginners; thus, no one has to go out and buy anything until that student has had enough experience to know what to buy. This alone could save you the price of the class and more. The shop provides a delicious lunch both days, a selection of donuts in the morning, and coffee and soft drinks throughout. All students will receive at least one Dick Talleur fly with signature card. A detailed agenda will be handed out at the beginning of the class. From Massachusetts, pick up Route 101A west at Nashua, go west to Milford, then north on Route 13 to the shop.
